KS3 Ebbor Gorge Trip

The other group of KS3  were off on another trip for their geography lessons focusing on local landscapes.

Once again they visited the striking area of Ebbor Gorge to see the variety of landscapes being on limestone can produce. The gorge produces a little shelter spot in the limestone hills and the group looked around the cliffs, and hunted for the small caves where there have been finds of neolithic to bronze age inhabitants.

They also practiced their shelter making skills - they would be very handy to have around if you got lost in the wilds!

One of KS3A testing out the strength and stability of their constructed shelter. He had to be pretty confident in their handiwork to do that.

First.... find your Gorge.

"Now if we go right past Tesco, and take a left at the roundabout and then....no wait..."

From the top of the Gorge there are some excellent views of the vale of Avalon - Glastonbury Tor lurking among the mists.

This is the house that KS3 built!
