The Multi Agency Support Team are able to offer the following:

Specific support to schools (groups of schools) that is identified at MAST/school meetings

Rapid response to requests from schools for support/advice

Professional development in specific areas ( for details follow this link to details of training on offer ) e.g.

• Anti bullying
• Peer support/mentoring
• Circle of friends
• Restorative justice
• Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention
• Curriculum areas e.g. paired reading, ‘Sound Discovery’, phonics training, language and communication difficulties.
• Areas of need e.g. ASD/Aspergers, Dyslexia, Co-ordination difficulties, Behaviour management

Identification of good practice in schools at all levels, which can be shared with other schools

Linking schools together to enable collaborative practic

Assessments to inform IEP/PSP/Annual review

Support with regard to pupils at risk of permanent exclusion

Support for internal school assessments

TA led social skills group sessions with pupils (5 sessions)

TA exchanges for support and professional development

SEN staff meetings on specific issues at the request of schools

Direct link with ASD Outreach Support team and other local support services

Liaison with inclusion manager re local SEN issues

Direct support through termly SENCO meeting
