SCRATCH ICT WORKSHOP

On Friday 13 th July 2007and Wednesday 18 th July 2007, Doug Poole the B&NES secondary ICT consultant came in to work with some of our KS4 students. Scratch is an ICT programme that lets you create your own interactive stories, games, music, animations and art.

The students soon became familiar with the basic features of the programme and produced some excellent animations and games. All of the students are keen to learn more complicated controls to make their work more interesting.

The students were very well motivated and keen to show off their ICT capability. We thank Doug for coming in to school and sharing his expertise with us.
