ONLINE INSET TRAINING

 

This training is extremely flexible and is appropriate for teachers, teaching assistants and other professionals.

Fosse Way School is one of two centres within Bath & North East Somerset who are registered to provide this professional development, which has been developed by South Central Regional Inclusion Partnership and funded by DfES.

The school has specifically trained leaders and the courses available are:-

‘SENSE’

‘Using ICT to Support Learning: SEN’

This is a certificated course focussing on supporting SEN pupils, although it can be applied to all.

The course involves 10 hours of direct face to face training. Within this there are four aspects covered:-

 

  • Available ICT and support
  • Profiling pupils
  • ICT and accessibility
  • Adapting resources for classroom use
