Tesco Opening

Leyton Jones, one of our Sixth Formers  reported from their trip to open Tescos having gone to help and take photographs of the event.

We took a group of the younger children from Mairi's Class to help Ms Pitts open Tesco's on Monday 14th November at 10.00.

We were given balloons by the employees of Tesco which everyone enjoyed.

Ms Pitts then had to go outside and cut the ribbon... (biggest pair of scissors we've ever seen!)

and everyone celebrated the opening with champagne with  the manager.

Tesco then gave some games to the younger children for their help and donated £500 to the school!

Then we returned to school having enjoyed ourselves!
