Exams Office page will provide information regarding Exams including timetables, and reminders.
The government has issued sets of guidelines from Ofqual and the JCQ about how the assessment process will take place.
Here are the links for reference;
- Ofqual have published their Student Guide to Awarding Summer 2021, which tells students what they need to know about how grades will be awarded this summer.
- The Department of education have an article that helps students and their families understand how this year’s assessment process works.
- The Joint Council for Qualifications have created guidance for students and parents to give them an overview of how grades are determined including a timeline of what is happening and when they will receive their results.
We have sent details of how we intend to apply the information and the required documents and policies home through ClassDojo. If you need this to be resent to you or need to discuss it, please contact Vicky in the office in the first instance. Many of our qualifications do not fall into the categories eligible for Q-TAGS and have been processed as normal. Mainly GCSE’s are affected and these guidelines apply to them.
Results day will be on Thursday August 12th – Please note this is a week earlier than previous years. It is intended for the office to be open from 9 -1pm for Candidates to come and collect their results in person. You can also phone the office during that time if you are unable to come in to collect results.
If you are unable to attend, the results will be sent home in first class post.
If you have any questions please phone Vicky in the office, or email email@example.com
