SWALLOW Base House is now open for seven nights per week. They currently have places available at Base House, for people with a learning disability, aged 16 plus wanting to:
- develop their independent living skills
- experience spending time away from their usual family home (whilst being fully supported)
- make new friends
- mix with their local community

February 7th is an important date for your diary as it marks ‘Safer Internet Day 2012’ which promotes safe, responsible use of the internet and mobile devices to young people.
The e-Learning Foundation is a major supporter of this event and is keen to ensure that as many schools, parents and pupils are aware of it, what it is about and what resources are available.
Resources are available for Parents, children and teachers as well as packs specifically for Primary and Secondary schools.
