SCHOOLS DIRECT TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMME

School Direct
School Direct is a programme originally proposed in the 2011 Department for Education (DfE) ITT strategy paper ‘Training our next generation of outstanding teachers’ and is intended to help schools take a leading role in ITT.
The Partnership Trust offers a primary general PGCE and a primary general PGCE with SEND specialism as part of its School Direct offer. This is open to all graduates and is funded by tuition fees paid by the trainees. At present we do not offer places for salaried route School Direct training.
